Loose Acoustic Trio

This is the band that answers the question Oh brother, where art thou? Hailing from New York, Oklahoma and California, the Loose Acoustic Trio is a North American music sandwich that has been described as a “brand new sound built up from considerably older roots -- a cross between country music of the '30s and '40s, jugband music, and a variety of American Ethnic traditions (polka, zydeco, conjunto), plus a little dollop of swing, all stirred together with some brand-new, old-style songs.” Now based in Sacramento, the Loose Acoustic Trio writes songs about hats, corn, unrequited love, bothersome friends, breakfast, brains, and holding hands -- and they're guaranteed to get your hands clapping and toes tapping.
